What is your superpower or unique ability?
I help our clients save and invest for retirement.
What do you love about your job at Alitis?
The thing I love most about my job at Alitis is our clients. I love to deal with our clients, I love to help our clients. What Alitis brings to our clients is the fact that we give them access to things that they might not ever have access to.
Why do you work at Alitis?
The thing that brought me here was the investments that they have. Alitis has access to investment types and private investments that you wouldn’t be able to get if we weren’t in town.
What is the best thing about your job at Alitis?
One of the best things about my job is that I get to see clients achieve their financial goals. So part of that is the investments and part of that is our team and all the work that we do and the pride that we have in what we do.
When you aren’t working, what do you do for fun?
My family and I, we like to hike and boat so Campbell River is one of the nicest places that I know of and Vancouver Island and British Columbia, you know, we live in a beautiful place. We have a boat, and we like to go out and explore Desolation Sound and the areas around here. Hiking – all over Vancouver Island – there are still places that I haven’t been.
What is the most satisfying part of your job?
The most satisfying part of my job is sitting across the table from a client and showing them where their investments are at and them looking once twice and then smiling and saying, “thank you” and then after that they discover that you know what, they’ve achieved their goals – they can now retire.
