Deborah is a seasoned compliance professional specializing in finance, with extensive expertise in regulatory compliance and risk management within the financial sector. With a career spanning over three decades, Deborah has held pivotal roles in ensuring regulatory adherence and promoting ethical standards across diverse financial institutions.
Prior to her current role, Deborah held senior positions in Compliance and Operations where her vast background in the financial industry and deep understanding of financial regulations were instrumental in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and fostering a culture of compliance within the firm. Deborah is committed to promoting industry best practices in both compliance and operations and serves as a mentor to emerging compliance professionals.
In her spare time, Deborah enjoys traveling to Vancouver Island to visit her children and grandchildren. Having been raised in Vancouver and moving to Alberta, the West Coast is still home in her heart. Deborah loves to unwind at the beach or on the water.
