Mitchell Prothman is a Senior Portfolio Manager & Head of Real Assets at Alitis Investment Counsel.
Mitchell is the lead portfolio manager for the Alitis Private Mortgage Fund, the Alitis Private REIT, and the Alitis Private Real Estate Limited Partnership with responsibility for the real estate and mortgage strategy for the firm. Mitchell is also a member of Alitis’ Investment Committee. Mitchell’s responsibilities have also included back-office systems and operations.
Prior to joining Alitis, Mitchell was an investment advisor at Dundee Wealth Management (now IA Securities) as part of a top-performing branch with $250 million in assets under management. He worked directly with clients facilitating long-term financial plans including management of their investment portfolios.
Mitchell’s qualifications include the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a Financial Management diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. Mitchell works full-time out of Alitis’ Victoria office.
