Karl is an Investment Operations Analyst at Alitis Investment Counsel.
Karl focuses on developing automated systems to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data gathering and analysis, supporting the firm’s investment operations and decision-making processes.
Before joining Alitis, Karl built a strong foundation in software engineering. He spent over five years as a Senior Software Engineer at Taikang Insurance Group in China, where he developed software and hardware solutions for the company’s data centers. Earlier in his career, he contributed to data-driven projects as a contractor for the Florida Department of Health.
Karl holds two master’s degrees—one in Computer Science and another in Food Science—bringing a unique combination of technical expertise and analytical thinking to his work.
Outside the office, Karl enjoys cycling, playing video games, and cooking meals to share with his family. He values quality time with loved ones and the sense of connection it brings, balancing his professional focus with creativity, community, and family life.
