Kevin Kirkwood is the Chief Investment Officer of Alitis Investment Counsel and has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry primarily in the areas of investment analysis, portfolio design, and compliance.
Kevin is the lead manager for the Alitis Growth Pool and the Alitis Income & Growth Pool, with responsibility for the equity strategy for the firm. Kevin is the head of Alitis’ Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Alitis, Kevin founded Global Portfolio Review Inc., a firm which developed quantitative investment analysis and management software. He was also the Chief Operating Officer of Cartier Partners Securities and Director, Investment Portfolios with Cartier Partners Portfolio Management. Prior to these positions, Kevin was the Manager, Specialty Investments for Cartier and its predecessor firm, Great Pacific Management Co. Ltd.
Kevin’s qualifications include the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C.
